We are currently looking for a Budget Controller to join our Finance Controlling team at our Zaventem office.

Hybrid work (up to two days remote per week) is possible.

Your Role:

As a Budget Controller, you will play a key role in analysing, reporting, and managing budgetary processes with purpose of maintaining expenditure controls.

Your primary focus will be that the budget is produced in a timely manner and controlled throughout the financial cycle.

Your Responsibilities:


Budgetary control of fixed costs

  • Support allocated departments for budget follow-up from a solution focused mindset

  • Prepare budget analysis reports to check opportunities & risks

  • Draw-up annual capital expenditure forecast & follow-up of results

  • Participate in budget process, gathering elements from different departments and comparing them with the guidelines received from HQ (European headquarter in Frankfurt and Seoul headquarters)


Monthly & Yearly forecast & closing

  • Make up accruals taking into account all fixed costs

  • Participate to the statutory audit and internal control (ICFR) regarding fixed costs

  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team when closing month, quarter and year

  • Control the fixed asset accounting, in collaboration with the accounting team


Policy related budgetary control

  • Ensure compliance of expenses with a diverse set of company policies (e.g. travel, meal, …)


SAP master regarding processes

  • Provide SAP training to newcomers & support users with SAP budget related inquiries

  • Maintain SAP users’ profile, access rights & reports


Your Profile:

We are looking for a candidate who...

  • holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.

  • has at least three years of relevant professional experience.

  • possesses strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • demonstrates excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • is an excellent communicator and stress-resistant with a proactive attitude

  • is fluent in English– knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an advantage.
