At the moment, we are looking for a Head of Sales and New Business on this location, a challenging role with an important impact on business growth!
The Role:
The Head of Sales & New Business leads and manages the sales department (20 FTE), consisting of 5 teams: Field operations, Fleet & PBV(commercial vehicles), Logistics, Sales intelligence & Administration and New Business. In this role, you will have 5 direct reports and you will report to the Managing Director.
Takes the lead, develops & implements the sales strategy, looking ahead 1 to 3 years, for Kia Belux entity in line with overall business goals and targets.
Main responsibilities include:
Translating the business plan into a clear sales strategy; steer monitoring, controlling & reporting processes regarding the business plan in line with overall plans and guidelines
Leading sales on innovative products and product lines, eg launch of new product line PBV (commercial vehicles), further electrification, or other innovative trends on mobility services, customer experience, car sharing, …
Guiding market analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of sales and fleet functions as a basis for short and mid-term sales decisions, taking into account all factors influencing the industry (economic, competitive, political, changes in customer needs, legal, environmental,…)
Manage a multimillion sales incentive budget translated into a commercial policy to reach sales volumes and financial targets
Define and follow-up wholesale and retail finance programs, sales activity vs planned goals and initiate corrective measures in case of deviation
Ensuring a good launch of our new PBV Business (commercial vehicles)
Acting as end responsible for daily & monthly sales reports
Optimizing logistic processes in order to deliver the agreed sales to the market
Developing Used Car business to a new level
Developing strong relationships as well internally as externally with key stake holders
Leading, coaching and developing employees and inspiring them to learn from experiences and challenge the status-quo in order to level up creativity and come with innovative ideas and solutions
Responsible for recruiting, training, supervising & evaluating employees in cooperation with HR
Taking charge on healthy and efficient working behaviour
Member of the Kia-Belux management team
The ideal candidate...
Has of a university degree in business economics or higher education
Has min. 5 years of successful experience as a Sales Director and more specific in retail / wholesale, fleet, Commercial vehicles, BI/Sales planning, Logistics, F&I, new Business projects
Is trilingual Dutch / French / English
Has a very good understanding of the Belux automotive market and its key stake holders
With an international background and mindset
And experience in collaborating with a European headquarter and ability to turning HQ strategy on a European level into subsidiary targets
Has strong people management skills
Is highly stress-resistant
Is able to push own and team boundaries
