The main objective of the IT Project and SAP Support role is to translate the complex needs analysis of the customer in a user-friendly SAP or other IT solution to fulfill the needs optimally, in line with the strategy of the company.
Positioning
The IT Project and SAP Support person will report to the Senior IT Project Manager.
Responsibilities
Support the Senior IT Project Manager regarding the evaluating of the user needs and system functionalities of projects
Support project reporting on a regular basis to all project stakeholders
Support the Senior IT Project Manager on the implementation and testing of diverse projects
Support on communication with system users in English by training sessions or by drafting manuals
Translate the needs analysis to a solution in the format of a SAP module and to realize and improve the module to fulfill the demands of the customer
Support and follow up the full project from detection of the problem till the supervising and supporting the implementation of SAP and/or other ERP application (including support system test and user test)
Maintaining the applications to guarantee optimal and continuous operation
Support and manage local projects in order to jointly determine operational needs and create functional requirements
Keep the projects up-to-date by scheduling follow-up meetings with the responsible IT stakeholders
Profile
Bachelor degree in IT and minimum 1 to 2 years of IT project management experience
Basic knowledge of the entire SAP module: MM/SD/FI/CO (workflow)
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Proactive, flexible and pragmatic
Stress resilient
Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming
Fluent level of English and Dutch/French is a plus
