To strengthen our commercial steering capabilities, we are currently looking for a Sales Planning Manager to join our Sales Planning & Intelligence team in Zaventem.Hybrid working is possible (up to 2 days remote per week).


The role


As Sales Planning Manager, you will be part of a small, diverse, and highly visible team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager Sales Planning & Intelligence.


You play a central role in steering commercial performance, translating market dynamics and commercial strategy into robust sales plans, forecasts, and incentive frameworks. Acting at the crossroads of Sales, Finance, and Management, you ensure alignment between ambition, execution, and financial targets.


This is a high-impact individual contributor role, offering high exposure to senior management and clear growth potential towards broader commercial or strategic responsibilities over time.



Your responsibilities


Sales planning & forecasting

  • Drive the preparation and coordination of monthly and quarterly planning cycles

  • Develop, challenge, and consolidate volume forecasts across channels and model lines

  • Ensure alignment between targets, supply constraints, and market evolution

  • Support and influence commercial decision-making in close collaboration with senior management


Incentives & budget steering

  • Manage and monitor commercial incentive budgets

  • Analyse the performance and effectiveness of sales actions

  • Support optimization of price–volume dynamics and profitability


Performance management

  • Track sales performance and proactively identify risks and opportunities

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

  • Prepare high-impact presentations and materials for senior management


Ad-hoc business analysis

  • Conduct deep-dives on key commercial topics such as pricing, mix, campaigns, and channel performance

  • Support strategic decisions through structured analysis and sound recommendations


Process improvement & automation

  • Continuously improve planning and reporting processes

  • Drive targeted automation initiatives to increase efficiency and data reliability


Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in sales planning, controlling, or commercial analytics; experience in the automotive industry is a plus

  • Solid business acumen with a clear understanding of key commercial levers (volume, pricing, mix, incentives)

  • Strong sense of ownership with a focus on delivery and business impact

  • Good financial knowledge (budget management, profitability logic)

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI or similar tools are a plus

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate trends and link vision to action

  • A team playerwho can also work autonomously and proactively

  • Resilient and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment

  • Able to challenge, synthesize, and influence decision-making

  • Fluent in English, with professional proficiency in Dutch and French; knowledge of Korean is a plus
